Anne Emory Lockert always enjoyed arts and creating from a young age- from dance to art work and jewelry making with her mom. She studied interior design and finished in art history at Lamar Dodd Art School of the University of Georgia.
After college, Anne Emory returned to Birmingham to explore architecture. She worked for Henry Sprott Long for five years, then used her vision to create and ability to draft working for Jordan Alexander Jewelry. She also worked alongside and became friends with Joel Cheatwood who later became the founder and president of Gems and Tonic as well as the co-founder and partner in The Gems Project, a luxury brand development agency representing, high-end, independent jewelry designers.

When Anne Emory left Jordan Alexander give years later with a husband and two young children, she discovered that clients preferred concierge jewelry services. Clients valued her ability to read their personal style and space and build a jewelry wardrobe around that.
Anne Emory Studio was born to sell a wide range of jewelry designers and to work with clients to rework existing jewelry as well as design custom and engagement pieces.
